It’s that time of the year again!! ✨ Work has been especially exhausting this summer, so I was really grateful that Hourly Comic Day fell on a Saturday this time. HOWEVER, I also decided to try adding watercolor washes because IDK I LIKE MAKING THINGS DIFFICULT….!!!
I’ve spent the last 6 years drawing my hourlies in square pages so it works better on Instagram, but now that Instagram is kiiiiiind of a disaster, I decided to ditch the square format and just draw straight on my sketchbook! It was nice to have more space per page, and it also made these hourlies incredibly satisfying to look at in person:
ALSO, I just found out that if you google “hourly comic day” my blog is right at the top of the image results??? am I…comics famous….???
